Dynamic Energy (Shakti | Essential Stillness (Shiva)
One Day Retreat
Sunday May 17th
9.30am - 5pm
Shakti (prana -vital force) is our creative dynamic energy and impulse
When it is low we find it difficult to feel inspired, motivated, joyous, enthusiastic, full of life, vital, healthy, able to make change or uplift ourselves and others.
Prana Shakti is the basic element of our life energy
Yoga Practices That Generate Dynamic Energy (Shakti)
release stagnation and inertia, release agitation and stress energies from the body, heart and mind while learning to experience and move prana using simple physical, breath, pranayama, and mudra practices. Simple and beautiful ways to cultivate Shakti.
Shiva (essential stillness) our innate capacity to bath in our peaceful essence
Without means to touch this innate quality and depth within us we burn out, there is no pause in life’s drama. The overwhelm or agitation of the mind has us captured.
It doesn’t have to be this way. It doesn’t take much to access this revivifying infinite pool of natural and abiding peace. We just need a skill that is stronger than the triggers.
2. Find & Experience Essential Stillness (Shiva)
Using simple yet powerful practices that encourage the mind to contemplate a single thing- such as mantra, dharana (contemplation practices), dhyana (meditation practice and state) as a spontaneous outcome of the preparatory practices
Training the mind to experience more space between thoughts, to clear its congestion and learn to observe from a seat of stillness even in action is a yogic outcome. living with a peaceful heart and mind is possible
Including a simple vegetarian lunch
at the beautiful Shantarasa Venue in Strathalbyn
Fee $140
