YOGA FOR MEN

Consideration for the specific health needs of men has become current and topical within the medical community and society in general over the last fifteen years. Yet within the yoga tradition gender specific strategies have been utilized for centuries. Within the parameters of mens’ health yoga has devised particular regimes to strengthen vitality, enhance longevity and successfully reduce stress and anxiety. Men have always required support for a range of mind/body issues that yoga has attended to and Shantarasa offers a range of mens’ specific trainings to qualitatively contribute to helping men ‘find the balance’ in the midst of today’s demanding lifestyles.
